Job Title: Research Scientist

Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated research scientist to conduct cutting-edge research in global environmental changes and their impacts on coral reef systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-quality research in geochronology, geochemistry, paleoclimate, and reef geology under limited supervision
  • Undertake data analysis, synthesis, and curation, and assist senior researchers with project coordination
  • Prepare peer-reviewed publications relevant to project objectives
  • Support teaching activities and contribute to student supervision as required
Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants must have a PhD (or near completion) in a relevant geoscience field, demonstrated ability to conduct research and scholarly activities under limited supervision, and expertise in at least one of the following areas: geochemistry, carbonate sedimentology, paleoecology, paleoclimatology, numerical modelling, relational database design, or geological data science.
