Infant & Child Mental Health Clinician

The role of a mental health clinician within the Infant and Child Core Community Treatment Team involves working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to identify areas for change and implement effective solutions.

This position requires skills in case management and assessment, as well as experience working with children and families in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of infants and children to identify mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique requirements
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support and care
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in a relevant field such as psychology or social work
  • Proven experience working with children and families in a mental health setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
