Job Opportunity: As a trainee early childhood educator, you will embark on a transformative journey within the early childhood education and care industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure children's safety and well-being in accordance with regulations and policies.
- Foster direct contact to support learning and development through engagement in arrival and settling routines.
- Address age-appropriate physical developmental needs and participate in planning and delivery of early childhood curriculum based on National Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team leaders to provide feedback on room/centre curriculum enhancement and seek feedback on personal development and learning.
Role Requirements: A demonstrated commitment to providing a safe, caring, non-judgmental, and supportive environment for all children and their families. You must also exercise fairness and equity while embracing diversities, commit to understanding and adhering to all standards, frameworks, and codes regulating early childhood care services, demonstrate understanding of appropriate behaviours while engaging with children, hold a current valid Working with Children Check as a mandated requirement to work with children, and possess a genuine desire and passion to build your career within early childhood education and care sector.
Eligibility Criteria: Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, be willing to commit to a 12-month traineeship program, and meet Covid & flu vaccine, current police & WWC check requirements.
