**Job Title:** Chief Medical Officer - Full Time Position

**Location:** Major tertiary public hospital in the region with 672 beds, catering to more than 500,000 people through a range of services.

**Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Medical Registrar to join our team on a full-time basis for 12 months.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality medical care to patients across various specialties, including acute inpatient and day services, outpatient services, women's and children's services, and paediatrics.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement effective treatment plans, ensuring seamless transitions between departments and services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to strict confidentiality and data protection protocols.

**Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified Medical Practitioner with current registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a major public hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong clinical skills, with ability to assess, diagnose, and manage complex medical conditions.
