Our Early Childhood Service is seeking an experienced and dedicated Group Leader to join our team in Leichhardt, Sydney.

The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate individual who can provide guidance, support and general supervision of staff, students and volunteers in the room. You will be responsible for developing the Children's Program, ensuring compliance with safety policies and maintaining accurate records. Effective communication with families is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Experience working as a Group Leader in an early childhood setting
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one
  • Excellent understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, including National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment

  • Strong understanding of the importance of family communications
  • Strong understanding of the Montessori Philosophy
  • Well versed with Montessori learning materials, the curriculum areas, and progression
  • Possession of a genuine passion for implementing Montessori early learning programs
  • Commitment to the holistic development of their class
