Job Summary

This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to work on electronic road infrastructure, broadening your skills in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). As a Road Infrastructure Engineer at Yunex Traffic, you will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and inspection of ITS assets, ancillary equipment, and highways electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform construction and reconstruction of ITS assets, such as traffic control signals, variable message signs, and hazard warning signs.
  • Prepare equipment prior to final installation, including traffic signal controllers and vehicle detection systems.
  • Install or modify new and existing ITS assets.
  • Undertake training on new equipment and systems as necessary.
  • Liaise with customers and other contractors.
  • Ensure works are completed in accordance with site specifications, on time, and to a high-quality level.
Requirements
  • A strong understanding of electrical systems and experience working with traffic signals is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including night shifts, and overtime as required.
  • Sound knowledge of industry health and safety requirements.
  • A valid driver's license, preferably MR/HR.
Working Conditions

The working pattern will be approximately 70% night shift and 30% day shift throughout the year. The ability to commute to Rydalmere, NSW 2116, is also a requirement.
