Elders Rural is a leading Australian agribusiness with a rich history spanning over 180 years. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be part of a close-knit team based in our Hay branch, working with clients to provide expert livestock sales support and insights.

This is a permanent full-time position offering a competitive salary of approximately AU$80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. As a key member of the branch, you will enjoy a varied day including:

  • Maintaining professional relationships and growing a strong portfolio of new and existing clients
  • Identifying and cultivating new livestock sales opportunities
  • Developing and growing relationships with key industry partners, including exporters and processors
  • Providing professional onsite livestock advice to clients, recommending appropriate products and services to strengthen their business
  • Employing tactful negotiating skills to bring buyers and sellers together
  • Maximising promotional opportunities, including assisting at industry and community events

To succeed at Elders Rural, you must possess a passion for effecting real change for both your clients and your community, as well as a passion for livestock sales and safe livestock handling. You should also be driven by sales and success, willing to roll up your sleeves to build new business, and have an ability to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with potential and current clients.

A Livestock Auctioneer Licence and Assessor Accreditation are highly desirable, but not essential. If you are lacking these qualifications, we offer free-of-charge training to assist in obtaining them.
