A key role in our organization is to process payrolls accurately and on time. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional payroll outcomes by adhering to relevant laws and regulations.

About the Position

Our company seeks an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong understanding of payroll principles and practices to work in a dynamic environment.

  • Process fortnightly payrolls using Viewpoint software.
  • Interpret EBA, Award and individual project employment conditions.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee data, timesheets, bonuses and deductions.
  • Calculate and process payroll adjustments, including leaves of absence, overtime and special pays.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of full-function, end-to-end payroll processing experience.
  • A current understanding of Australian payroll laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (Viewpoint) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A high level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
