We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team in Perth, Australia.
As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' communication skills.
- You will provide therapy to patients to improve speech and language abilities.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies to enhance communication.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients.
- Document patients' progress and maintain accurate records.
Essential Qualifications:
- Recent full-time experience in speech pathology is required.
- Valid certification as a Speech Pathologist is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- Ability to work with individuals of all ages with varying communication disorders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in speech pathology practice is desirable.
- Previous work in a healthcare or educational setting is preferred.
Vacancy Requirements:
- SPA certificate from Speech Pathology Australia is required.
- A valid IELTS score of 5,5,5,5 + or equivalent in PTE, OET is necessary.
