We are seeking two highly skilled professionals to join our team as a Teacher of Heavy Vehicle and Mobile Plant at the Kurri Kurri TAFE Campus. The role involves delivering training to various student cohorts, including school-based apprentices, trade apprentices, and post-trade students.

About the Role

The successful candidates will be responsible for creating and guiding educational programs that cater to the needs of students. This includes tailoring delivery to suit different learning styles and ensuring that students have access to industry-relevant knowledge and skills.

As a professional educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the future workforce by constructing and facilitating practical learning experiences. You will work closely with students to help them achieve their desired outcomes and provide guidance on career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • To deliver face-to-face educational programs and facilitate practical learning experiences for students.
  • To create and maintain industry-relevant content, ensuring that students have access to up-to-date information and skills.
  • To work closely with students to identify their strengths and areas for improvement, providing personalized feedback and guidance.

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Hold relevant qualifications, such as Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology.
  • Have a minimum of five years' experience in the automotive industry, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality training programs.
  • Demonstrate strong digital skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package of $96,158 - $114,039 per annum, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
