Reliability Engineer Role

Main Responsibilities:
  • Downtime Data Management: Collect and analyse downtime data to optimise asset performance.
  • Maintenance Program Facilitation: Apply Reliability Engineering tools, including Failure Mode Effect & Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 5 Why's Analysis, Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) & defect eliminations, to ensure proactive maintenance.
  • Production Downtime Minimisation: Investigate failure events and perform detailed analysis on plant & equipment availability, reliability & maintainability to identify and rectify equipment and operational defects.
  • Profit Maximisation: Optimise high-cost maintenance processes to maximise profitability of operations.
  • Asset Maintenance Strategy Review: Oversee maintenance strategy development & optimisation and review asset maintenance strategies.
  • Asset Management Development: Develop and implement Asset management and Asset Integrity standards and processes.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support in solving complex plant problems affecting asset performance.

About You:

  • Engineering Degree: Hold an Engineering degree or similar discipline.
  • Mining Experience: Have previous demonstrated experience in a mining or processing environment.
