Traffic Management Planner

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Traffic Management Planner to join our team at GHD. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for preparing and implementing traffic management plans to ensure the safe and efficient movement of people and goods.
About the Role
This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity that will see you working closely with our client Main Roads WA. You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and implementing traffic management plans to meet the needs of Main Roads WA
- Providing expert advice to traffic management contractors on best practices and compliance with Australian standards
- Conducting on-site audits of traffic management plans to ensure compliance and safety
- Collaborating with our team to develop and implement traffic management strategies that meet the needs of Main Roads WA
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in preparing and implementing complex traffic management plans
- A strong understanding of Australian standards and regulations related to traffic management
- Extensive experience using AutoCAD for 2D drawings
- Good knowledge of the Main Roads Code of Practice
- Completion of the Advanced Worksite Traffic Management (AWTM) qualification
