About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Asset Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Geraldton. As an Asset Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing our fleet of owned and cross-hired construction equipment and assets, ensuring optimal performance and availability for our projects.

With a well-established system and framework in place, you will have the opportunity to implement new ideas and grow the system and processes. You will work closely with a great team and have the support of a management team with extensive site experience.

The successful applicant will have a Logistics management background, be a confident and influential individual who can drive results while meeting operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate the planning, coordination, and maintenance of all construction plant and equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of asset utilisation, maintenance schedules, and repairs
  • Assist in the procurement of plant and equipment
  • Purchasing and cross-hiring of assets
  • Issuing of plant hire agreements
  • Complete Asset & Plant paperwork for site mobilisation and project requirements
  • Maintaining plant utilisation and cost records
  • General administrative functions as required for the role
  • Reporting on plant performance and cost tracking
Requirements
  • A background in contract administration is desirable but not essential
  • A Logistics management background is highly favourable
  • Intermediate to Advanced computer skills, including Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to learn new computer software and systems promptly
  • Use initiative and be switched on at all times
  • Positive work attitude and great work ethic
  • Valid C Class drivers' licence at minimum
  • Physically fit and able to pass drug and alcohol screening
