Emergency Medicine Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Specialist to provide high-quality medical care to patients in the emergency department and wards.

About the Role
  • Deliver emergency department services, including triage and management of acute presentations
  • Provide general practice services, including health assessments, diagnosis, and management of chronic conditions
  • Participate in ward rounds and contribute to the care of patients on the wards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake emergency department duties, including assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of treatment plans and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or equivalent
  • Experience working in an emergency department or general practice setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
