Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to protect our organisation's financial and information assets. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project and technology teams to support day-to-day maintenance and uplift activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and manage cyber security infrastructure, toolsets and rulesets including cloud security, firewalls, SIEM, application control, PAM, email security etc.
  • Support and maintain existing security configurations and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Produce security documentation, plans and procedures on tooling and processes.
  • Assess the relevance of new and emerging cyber security suppliers and technologies.
  • Contribute to the security team's overall responsibilities including incident response.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following qualifications and skills are required:

  • Tertiary qualifications in cyber security or computer science.
  • AGSVA clearance is desirable.
  • Experience in implementing Microsoft Defender and Intune is also essential.
  • Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity areas including cloud security, SIEM, application control, PAM, email security and network security.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of multiple security frameworks and industry good practices.
