This role involves quality testing, grain receival and export onto bulk vessels. It's a physical job with manual handling tasks and site hygiene responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Spear and Sample Incoming Grains Trucks
  • Analyse grain quality and Identify grain defects including weed seeds
  • Enter delivery details and sample data into application system
  • Liaise with Growers/Clients regarding grain quality
  • Ensure Hygiene and Cleanliness of Lab and Sampling areas

To succeed, you'll need excellent verbal and written communication skills, advanced computer skills, ability to work under pressure, high level of organisation and DAWR Authorised Officer accreditation or willingness to obtain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality are maintained throughout the production process. This includes conducting thorough inspections of grain samples, identifying any defects or irregularities and implementing corrective actions as required.
