We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Indigenous Australian to join our team as a Level B Lecturer (Education Focused) in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University.
Key Responsibilities- Support the teaching of the Indigenous health curriculum and provide academic support to Indigenous students in any of the Faculty's disciplinary fields.
- Develop and implement culturally sensitive health education programs and materials.
- Collaborate with academic staff and other stakeholders to enhance the Indigenous health curriculum and student experience.
- Contribute to the development of research projects and initiatives that address Indigenous health disparities.
- Hold a healthcare background and be embedded in Schools/Departments.
- Have strong links to the Gukwonderuk Unit.
- Be an Indigenous Australian with experience in engagement working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
