Lead Emergency Management Analyst

We are seeking a skilled emergency management analytics specialist to lead our team in analyzing and interpreting emergency event data, identifying risks and gaps, and developing situational awareness tools.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough analysis of emergency event data, including root cause analysis and lessons learned
- Developing and maintaining dashboards and other visualizations to support operational readiness and situational awareness
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Synthesizing complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for senior leaders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement emergency management strategies
- Providing training and support to staff on emergency data platforms and reporting tools
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- A tertiary level qualification in Business Administration, Information Systems or related fields
- Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with ability to build strong relationships across functions
- Strategic thinking and ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
