Leadership Opportunity at a Historic Pub

Historic pubs like ours have been an integral part of the community's fabric for generations. We're now embarking on a new chapter, and we're looking for someone to lead our Front of House Team.

We are seeking a skilled Floor Manager who can set the tone for excellent customer service and efficient table service operations. You'll work closely with the General Manager to drive overall management and operation of the pub's floor service, maintaining high service standards while leading and developing the floor team.

You will be responsible for managing liquor licencing, RSA, Food Safety and WHSE requirements, as well as budgeting, rostering, and procurement. You should have confidence in your ability to manage these tasks effectively.

In addition to experience in managing teams in a busy Pub, Venue or Restaurant in Tasmania, you should have:

  • Experience in managing budgets and rosters
  • Confidence in managing liquor licencing and RSA requirements
  • Commitment to maintaining a high level of food safety and WHSE
  • First aid qualifications (willingness to obtain essential)

You'll receive extensive training on our wine list, menu, and operations prior to opening. Service will be lunch and dinner, with average shifts around 6 hours. The property will be open most days midday to 10pm (Thursday to Saturday until midnight, Sunday is lunch service only).
