In this role, you will be part of a team that provides expert advice to support informed decision making on various policy, legislative, business, and related system issues.

  • You will conduct research and analysis on policy, legislative, or systems issues, evaluate options, and develop sound solutions that align with strategic directions.
  • Your tasks will include preparing complex correspondence, reports, briefing notes, submissions, and other correspondence to facilitate effective communication.
  • You will coordinate activities, tasks, or projects to ensure the timely delivery of project and policy outcomes.
  • This role requires building and maintaining productive working relationships with key people both internally and externally.
  • You will monitor and evaluate policy initiatives in Australia to identify best practices and provide recommendations.
  • Effective communication, liaison, and consultation skills are essential for dealing with stakeholders and challenging situations.
  • You will also identify, develop, and manage initiatives that support organisational goals.
