About the Role
The ORS Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our Positive Behaviour Support division. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing clinical services to NDIS participants aged 0-65.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and observe participants' challenging behaviours and work towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation, and introducing replacement behaviours to reduce the use of restrictive practices.
- Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans and assessments to increase a person's quality of life, including improving their skills and enhancing their independence.
- Work collaboratively with allied health practitioners, support workers, and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Provide training and regular follow-up and review to ensure the successful implementation of PBS plans.
Requirements
- Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Board-Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA), Teaching, Social Work, Social Sciences, Criminology, Childhood Education & Care, Health Science, or Nursing.
- NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner (or the ability to become registered).
- Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses (desirable).
- A car and licence.
- A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to obtain one before commencement.
