Job Title: Secondary Drama Educator
This role offers an exciting opportunity to teach and develop the drama curriculum for students in Years 7-12 at a vibrant and inclusive college. The successful applicant will be responsible for planning, implementing and assessing student learning programs to achieve high levels of student engagement and academic achievement.
About the Role:
- We are seeking a qualified teacher with expertise in drama education and performance to join our team
- The ideal candidate will have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities
- A strong understanding of the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Framework is essential
Key Responsibilities:
- To teach and develop the drama curriculum for students in Years 7-12
- To plan, implement and assess student learning programs to achieve high levels of student engagement and academic achievement
- To communicate effectively with parents, colleagues and other stakeholders about student progress and wellbeing
- To participate in professional learning and development opportunities to improve teaching practices and student outcomes
Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise in drama education and performance
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
