We are seeking an exceptional C++ software developer to join our team. As a key member, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge GPU simulation platforms, driving next-generation computing experiences.

Your Role
  • You will collaborate closely with architects, design engineers, and verification engineers on specifications, verification plans, and test plans.
  • Develop and maintain robust C/C++ models and supporting systems.
  • Conduct thorough debugging, testing, analysis, and improvement of model functional and performance accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing AMD's design and verification environment.
About You
  • We are looking for a skilled software designer and engineer proficient in C++.
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in C++ (and/or C).
  • Experience developing complex systems in a structured environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to understand requirements and expectations, and clarify when needed.
  • Able to present results and status to peers and management.
  • Strong analytical ability, including data-based decision making and understanding complex architectural concepts.
  • Proactive, self-motivating, and able to seek guidance when needed.
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment and values diverse perspectives.

Preferred experience includes:

  • Software development using C or C++.
  • Use of industry-standard profiling and debug tools.
  • Knowledge of Graphics APIs or graphics pipeline.
  • Hardware design or verification experience.
  • Hardware implementation using HDLs such as Verilog or VHDL.
  • Scripting languages (Python, Perl, shell).
  • Productivity tools (Jira, Jenkins).
  • Configuration management tools (Perforce, GIT).
