Explosive Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to operate blast hole drill rigs in a safe and efficient manner. Key responsibilities include operating drilling equipment, conducting pre-shift inspections, and implementing safety procedures to prevent accidents.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience operating blast hole drill rigs, a strong understanding of mine site safety protocols, and the ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug testing. A C-class license and Australian working rights are also essential.

This is a FIFO roster position with a 2:1 rotation, offering immediate commencement. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve project goals while adhering to mine site safety standards.

  • Operate blast hole drill rigs efficiently and safely
  • Conduct regular pre-shift inspections to ensure equipment is in good working order
  • Implement safety protocols to prevent injuries and near-misses
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve project objectives
