Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have experience in credit control processes, cash management, and reconciliations. Additionally, proficiency in Excel and knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily payment allocations and identify reasons for short/missed payments with the goal of resolving them.
  2. Process new account applications, including required credit checks and risk assessments.
  3. Regularly review held orders to ensure timely release within agreed time frames.
  4. Maintain accurate customer accounts, including credit limits, changes to customer details, payment arrangements, and other relevant information.
  5. Manage month-end process to ensure timely distribution of account statements.
  6. Evaluate debt recovery strategies and escalate to external agencies when necessary.
  7. Review aged debtors list on a monthly basis.

Requirements:

  • A good understanding of credit control processes, cash management, and reconciliations experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel is essential.
  • Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
