Job Opportunity: CHPP Maintenance Electrician

We are currently seeking experienced professionals to fill a key role in our maintenance team at Central Queensland. The position will be offered on a Full Time Max Term contract and requires a 7/7 roster with flights from Cairns, Townsville or Rockhampton provided and camp accommodation whilst on site.

Candidates from all regional Queensland communities are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the following qualifications:

  • Electrical Trade Qualification / QLD Electrical License
  • Relevant experience within a fixed plant maintenance background in a similar industry
  • Instrumentation experience is desirable, including calibration, installation, and maintenance of sensors, transmitters, and other instrumentation equipment
  • Current Coal Board Medical
  • Current Standard 11
  • Valid Australian Driver's License
  • Valid Right to Work in Australia
  • Current LVR/CPR

The successful applicant will perform preventative and breakdown maintenance tasks as required, maintain complete equipment records and documentation related to tests, maintenance, modifications, and repairs, consistently seek opportunities to enhance efficiency and productivity through process improvements, and housekeeping and general maintenance of all areas of the CHPP, Train Loadout and Yard.
