As a facilitator of employability skills, you will play a key role in driving the success of a new program aimed at increasing jobseekers' competitiveness in their local labour market.

We welcome applicants from various backgrounds, including Training, Careers Counselling, Community Services or Employment Services. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where you can make a genuine impact and help people find employment.

The program provides ongoing support for employment, independence and improved wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging training and support services for jobseekers
  • Manage group training sessions online and face-to-face
  • Support participants to identify their skills, abilities and secure employment
  • Develop career development plans for participants
  • Organise, plan and implement training programs
  • Build relationships with local employers and community organisations
  • Arrange industry guest speakers
  • Travel to deliver training in the local region
  • Work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • Current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Will to complete a Criminal History Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment (desirable)
  • RSA certificate (desirable)
