The role of an aircraft maintenance engineer is a highly specialized and technical position that requires expertise in aircraft systems, engines, and components. As a B2 licensed professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of various aircraft types, including jets, turboprops, and reciprocating multi-engine planes.
Key Responsibilities:- Aircraft Inspections: Perform annual and progressive inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintenance and Repair: Diagnose and correct malfunctions in complex aircraft systems, perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspection, repair, and replacement of components.
- Engine Testing and Alignment: Conduct functional checks, engine test runs, instrument tests, and alignment to ensure optimal performance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed written reports and documentation.
- B2 License: Hold a valid B2 license (CASA or equivalent).
- Aircraft Knowledge: Have an excellent understanding of aircraft engines, mechanical systems, and components.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Language Proficiency: Be able to read and write in English.
- Customer Service: Exhibit outstanding customer service abilities.
