Frontline Care Assistant

The Role:

This is a part-time opportunity to work as a Frontline Care Assistant. Your duties will include:

  • Providing patient care where required or supported by clinical staff members.
  • Performing cleaning duties in patient rooms and common areas.
  • Assisting patients on arrival and allowing them to settle for their admission.
  • Transporting patients to and from appointments using a Hospital Wheelchair Accessible Car.

To be successful in this role, you will be a positive and effective team player who brings excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage your time effectively to meet your responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

You will also hold:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care, Health Services or Care Support Services (Desirable).
  • Experience within a clinical hospital setting.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
  • A solid understanding of hospital operations, medical terminology, and quality patient care.
  • An understanding of the importance of infection control and manual handling guidelines.
