As a key member of our processing team, you will be working on the largest automated electroplating line in the Southern Hemisphere at our state-of-the-art facility.

About This Role

The primary function of this position is to perform electroplating and chemical processing/treatment of aircraft components during night shift.

Candidates with formal NDT qualifications will also be required to operate the Electroplating line and undertake the necessary training.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Carry out electroplating and chemical processing of components according to internal and customer process specifications.
  2. Assist the laboratory supervisor in plating bath solution sampling and chemical additions as needed.
  3. Perform plating masking and unmasking in accordance with documented processes and procedures.
  4. Contribute to the manufacture of plating racking and fixtures.
  5. Pursue activities associated with the production of reverse osmosis water.
  6. Support the verification and validation of plating processes.
  7. Maintain and calibrate plating baths, tanks, and waste treatment plants.
  8. Conduct NDT inspections in accordance with customer specifications.
  9. Quarantine any component failures for further assessment and rework if necessary.
