Job Description

This full-time Occupational Therapist position is ideal for someone who is passionate about building long-term relationships with clients and making a lasting impact on their lives. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our experienced team, which includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, and Counsellors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to clients aged 0-65, with a focus on supporting adult clients in the NDIS space.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement client-centered plans.
  • Conduct assessments and provide interventions to support clients in achieving independence and enhancing their quality of life.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
  • Membership with AHPRA as a registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience providing occupational therapy services to adults (NDIS experience is a plus).
  • A reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • A driver's license.
  • Demonstrated experience prioritising workloads and managing clients with complex needs.
  • Commitment to Continuing Professional Development, Evidenced-Based Practice, and measuring clinical outcomes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of confidentiality principles and WHS responsibilities.
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain one before commencement.
