Infectious Diseases Specialist Opportunity

Westmead Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Infectious Diseases Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise in infectious diseases, including critical care infection, infections in immunocompromised patients, and antimicrobial stewardship.

This is a unique opportunity for a medical professional to work closely with clinicians, researchers, and educators to advance the field of infectious diseases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients with infectious diseases
  • Supervise junior medical staff and students
  • Contribute to infectious diseases research
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement infection control strategies
Requirements:
  • Registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP)
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • Additional qualifications, skills, or experience relevant to Infectious Diseases medicine
