We seek a proactive HSE professional to drive bold improvements in health, safety and wellbeing outcomes across national operations.
This newly created role will be pivotal in building and embedding a people-focused health and safety culture across teams. The strategic partner will lead initiatives, manage risk, support incident investigations and coach teams to continuously improve HSE performance.
- Drive implementation of the company's HSE strategy, plans and wellbeing initiatives.
- Provide expert guidance and practical support to operational leaders across multiple sites.
- Investigate health, safety and environmental incidents; identify root causes and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Build capability at all levels through training, mentoring and hands-on partnership.
- Contribute to broader sustainability initiatives in collaboration with the Environment and Sustainability team.
- Lead continuous improvement in HSE processes, reporting and compliance across Intermodal, Linehaul and Fleet teams.
You are an HSE professional who thrives on creating safer, healthier workplaces. You're known for your people-first approach, strong stakeholder relationships and ability to influence and drive results.
Requirements- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline.
- Significant experience in a similar HSE advisor or business partner role, ideally in transport, logistics or heavy industry.
- Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management practices.
- Demonstrated experience in incident investigation and driving continuous improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching and influencing skills.
