Supporting Independence in Our Community

Bay Basin Community Resources is a trusted provider of in-home and community aged care services. We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team, supporting older people to maintain their independence in their own homes.

About the Role

We visit clients in their homes, provide support with community access, or engage in activities at our respite facilities. Services may include:

  • Personal care, such as showering assistance or medication support
  • Domestic assistance, including housekeeping and shopping
  • Shopping and meal preparation
  • Respite and social support, sharing interests and companionship
  • Community Access
  • Work in our Respite Cottage in Sanctuary Point
  • Varying shifts, including sleepovers and active night shifts

Essential Skills and Qualifications

We're looking for individuals who are:

  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Effective communicators
  • Compassionate with a positive attitude
  • Eager to learn and develop further

Requirements

Applicants must hold:

  • Australian Federal Police clearance
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Certificate III Individual Support Ageing, Disability, or Home and Community Care (or equivalent)
  • Driver's Licence with a safe driving record
  • Current car registration and comprehensive insurance
  • Working with Children Check Clearance
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including booster
