SAP Basis Consultant Position

This is a challenging opportunity to work as a SAP Basis Consultant.

  • Our ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing overall infrastructure architecture to support SAP systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • They should have experience in developing hybrid infrastructure solutions that integrate cloud and on-premise environments, taking into account scalability and high availability.
  • The selected individual will perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP landscapes, including Transport management and environment setup.
  • Key responsibilities include managing patching and upgrades for SAP components (SAP Kernel, NetWeaver, Support Packages, Enhancement Packages, including Security patches).
  • Responsibilities also include conducting database administration and performance tuning to ensure efficient operation of SAP systems.
  • The consultant will implement system monitoring and performance optimization strategies to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
  • Tasks include setting up, configuring, and managing SAP landscapes, including Development, Quality, and Production environments.
  • Design and deploy SAP environments on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and manage hybrid cloud setups effectively.
  • Leverage SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), or third-party cloud services for efficient infrastructure management.
  • The role requires providing security support with user identity management, including provisioning, access control, and role design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of infrastructure solutions with business objectives.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in SAP infrastructure and cloud services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A proven track record of designing infrastructure architectures for SAP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Experience with SAP landscape setup, configuration, and management.
  • Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Australian citizenship enables the ability to obtain baseline security clearance to work with our clients.
