Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit Cleaning and Facilities Assistant to join our Proactive Services Team in Woolworths East Tamworth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our store, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.


Key Responsibilities
  • Complete assigned cleaning tasks on a daily basis, including sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays, and team room, and emptying bins
  • Collect trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas
  • Work across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions or providing directions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Physical fitness to perform physically demanding tasks
  • The ability to stand for long periods and lift loads between 5-10kgs
  • Flexibility to work in different environments, such as the shop floor, fridges, freezers, and carparks
  • A good eye for cleanliness and attention to detail
