About the RoleWe are seeking Behaviour Support Practitioners who possess current suitability at the Core level, as confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission.
The successful candidate will have:
- Completed a degree-level qualification in an allied health profession
- Report writing experience
- Experience working in the Disability Sector
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
- A proactive attitude and motivated by improvement
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting NDIS participants and their families/carers to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning
- Evaluating, developing and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support space
- Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising a positive behaviour support framework
- Ensuring individual plans reflect NDIS participants' goals, passions and strengths
- Acting as an advocate and role model for best practice
