Our team is seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our Ultrasound Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide high-quality imaging services to our patients.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and experienced Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Ultrasound imaging services to our patients.

Your main responsibilities will include performing all Ultrasound examinations to the highest standards of quality and care, demonstrating extensive knowledge of ultrasound imaging and clinical skills. You will also participate within a multidisciplinary team to provide an efficient service optimising patient care and safety, ensuring operational targets are met.

Key Requirements:

  • Registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
  • Experience and competence in a wide variety of general ultrasound examinations
  • A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willingness to obtain

Our Ultrasound Department is a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services, offering a comprehensive range of general and complex examinations. We have a strong commitment to quality and excellence, and we are seeking like-minded professionals to join our team.

We operate from 18 sites across greater Melbourne, including a major teaching, academic research and tertiary referral centre situated in Fitzroy.
