Job Description
  • Assist with domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to ensure our customers' homes remain safe and comfortable.
  • Provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities, fostering engagement and community participation.
  • Offer personal care services including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance, ensuring our customers receive the necessary support to maintain their daily routines.
  • Deliver respite and emotional support to alleviate caregiver burden and promote overall well-being.
  • Transport customers to appointments and provide complex care for those requiring additional support, such as dementia patients.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Domestic Assistance: Maintain a clean and safe living environment by assisting with household chores.
  2. Social Support: Engage customers in various activities, promoting social interaction and community involvement.
  3. Personal Care: Provide essential personal care services, ensuring customers maintain their independence and dignity.
  4. Respite Support: Offer temporary relief to caregivers, alleviating stress and promoting overall well-being.
  5. Complex Care: Deliver specialized care to customers requiring additional support, such as dementia patients.

Requirements
  • 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • Care about assisting the elderly community to live independently at home for longer.
  • Current P2 class or above Australian Drivers License and registered vehicle – travel is part of the role.
  • Ability to work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems and knowing when to ask for help.
