Food safety is at the forefront of a rapidly changing landscape, with new legislation on the horizon and a bold vision for a digitally enabled future-ready agency.
As General Manager, Enablement, Preparedness and Productivity, you will lead a high-performing branch of around 40 staff in Canberra, overseeing core enabling functions including stakeholder engagement, governance, finance, HR, ICT, legal, communications, risk, and security.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive transformational change, aligning corporate functions with our new legislative framework and strategic direction.
- Cultivate a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement, empowering teams to thrive in a complex environment.
- Lead digital enablement, governance, and workforce capability to strengthen productivity and resilience, driving business outcomes through data-driven decision making.
- Partner with the CEO and Executive to set organisational strategy, delivering on our mission to shape the future of food safety for Australia and New Zealand.
- Ensure effective governance, probity, and risk management across all enabling functions, upholding the highest standards of integrity and accountability.
We are seeking a visionary executive leader with expertise in leading diverse teams and functions in complex or regulated settings. The ideal candidate will have:
