The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead product strategy and execution for Tala's platform initiatives, shaping the future of financial services for the emerging middle class.

As a key member of our product team, you will define and deliver platform services and capabilities that enable us to move fast, scale, and create exceptional customer experiences.

You'll collaborate closely with a cross-functional global team to achieve outstanding business results while driving Tala's vision of financial agency for all.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a cross-functional team to drive product strategy and roadmap execution.
  • Build compelling business cases to inform outcome-oriented product prioritization decisions.
  • Develop clear product specifications, partnering closely with engineering to deliver high-quality experiences.
  • Drive execution and go-to-market planning of new products tied to clearly defined success metrics.
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights to drive significant impact and ROI.
  • Influence key stakeholders to determine product needs and requirements.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in product management, preferably in a platform context.
  • Demonstrated ability to ship products and deliver meaningful business results.
  • Strong understanding of modern development practices and planning processes.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to set vision and organize teams.

Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Location: Remote-first approach with offices in Santa Monica, CA; Nairobi, Kenya; Mexico City, Mexico; Manila, Philippines; and Bangalore, India.
