This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to WA's infrastructure landscape by delivering high-quality engineering solutions and ensuring the smooth execution of major construction packages.
The role involves collaborating with GHD and Civcon design teams to ensure seamless handovers between design and construction packages. You will also be responsible for cost-control and claims management, as well as mentoring junior engineers and site supervisors to develop their skills and expertise.
To succeed in this role, you will require strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with GHD and Civcon design teams to ensure seamless handovers between design and construction packages.
• Develop and implement effective cost-control strategies to manage costs and minimize delays.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and site supervisors to develop their skills and expertise.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements:
• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in managing subcontractors and suppliers for site works.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in coordinating and/or running toolbox meetings, pre-start meetings, site inductions and HSEQ practices.
