The Role
In this role, you will provide extensive support to individuals with disabilities within a residential setting. This will include tasks such as personal care, meal assistance, hoisting, and transfers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support to individuals with disabilities
- Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Prepare and serve meals in accordance with dietary requirements
- Transport individuals to appointments and activities
- Maintain accurate records of individual's progress and needs
Requirements
- Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Social Work or equivalent
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Valid Victorian Driver's License
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module (certificate of completion)
