Health Information Clerk Role Overview

Latrobe Regional Health is seeking a skilled Health Information Clerk to join our Health Information Department on a casual basis.

The successful candidate will provide an efficient and customer-focused service through clerical, computer, and reception duties, supporting Health Information/Records storage and retrieval services for Latrobe Regional Health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for the Health Information Department
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and data
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health information management standards and policies

Requirements:

  • Experience working within a health service
  • Competent in use of computer systems, including data entry and use
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team
