Warehouse Storeperson Job Opportunity

We're seeking a dedicated individual to secure documents and information in a fast-paced environment. This role involves processing materials for destruction, picking, moving, and stacking boxes/files safely, operating RF scanners and manual pallet jacks, maintaining warehouse organisation and security, and following handling and compliance protocols.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our logistics team in Acacia Ridge, Queensland. As a Warehouse Storeperson, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure storage and retrieval of sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Materials for Destruction: Safely handle and dispose of confidential documents and materials.
  • Pick, Move, and Stack Boxes/Files Safely: Transport and store boxes and files within the warehouse, adhering to safe working practices.
  • Operate RF Scanners and Manual Pallet Jacks: Use technology and equipment to efficiently manage inventory and maintain a well-organised workspace.
  • Maintain Warehouse Organisation and Security: Ensure all areas of the warehouse are clean, tidy, and secure, with minimal risk of loss or damage.
  • Follow Handling and Compliance Protocols: Adhere to established procedures for handling sensitive information and complying with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous Warehouse Experience: preferably in destruction or secure handling.
  • Physical Fitness: capable of manual handling and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • National Police Check: able to pass a background check.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): basic PPE required, including steel-capped boots and hi-vis clothing.
  • Attention to Detail: strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
