Milestone IT is seeking a skilled healthcare IT project delivery specialist to lead the integration and data migration aspects of an EMR implementation project. As the EMR Integration and Data Migration Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the integration and data migration processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the integration and data migration team to ensure optimal resource utilization and project delivery.
- Develop and execute comprehensive integration and data migration strategies aligned with overall project objectives.
- Collaborate with the EMR vendor, stakeholders, and the EMR team to understand complex workflows, information needs, and interoperability requirements.
- Assess and address technical and functional challenges related to integration and data migration.
- Ensure the accurate and timely migration of patient data, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Develop detailed documentation of integration and data migration processes, including solution architecture and workflows.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, providing proactive solutions.
- Work closely with business transformation leads to align application functions and ensure a robust future-state solution.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in leading and managing large-scale EMR integration and data migration projects.
- Deep understanding of healthcare IT systems, including EMRs, EHRs, and other clinical systems.
- Strong technical skills in data migration tools, ETL processes, and integration technologies (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
- Experience working with healthcare standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
