Effective Pipe Welding Equipment Management and Maintenance
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining a fleet of pipe welding equipment, calibrating hire welders, and providing technical support and advice to customers.
Duties:- Maintain and repair pipe welding equipment ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
- Calibrate hire welders to specifications ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Provide expert technical support and advice to customers enhancing their experience and satisfaction.
- Liaise with other departments regarding the condition of welding equipment and progress of repairs ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Hands-on mechanical experience with diesel, hydraulic, and auto electrical repairs including troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Possession of a Mechanical Fitter trade certificate or similar qualification such as Electrical Fitting.
- A high-risk license - Forklift (LF) is highly desirable.
- A team player with a proactive can-do attitude and a safety-first work ethic.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter.
- A valid Forklift License and Test & Tag Ticket are mandatory.
Our team works from an on-site location.
