Job Title: Security Admin Officer Contract

We are seeking an experienced Security Admin Officer to join our team on a 12-month contract, with extensions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting security clearance processes, working closely with External Security Vetting Services (ESVS) and other government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process criminal records checks and manage electronic security inboxes
  • Commence, monitor, progress, and finalise security clearance processes
  • Provide policy and procedural advice regarding security clearance requirements
  • Prepare documentation for delegate approval and compile regular compliance reports
  • Assist with the progression of internal security processes as required
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills
  • Ability to interpret policy and work proactively with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to interrogate and manipulate information systems
  • Knowledge of the Australian Government's Protective Security Framework
  • Experience in processing clearance applications and managing high-volume clearance enquiries
