Job Title: Care Worker - Home Support

About the Role

This position involves traveling between clients' homes to assist with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centered care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Domestic assistance, including light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Social support/transportation, such as social activities, shopping/groceries, and traveling to medical appointments
  • Supporting customers in the use of aids, like standing or walking frames and wheelchairs
  • Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
  • Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
  • Performing work under the supervision of a Care Coordinator
  • Services are generally available between 6am-6pm Monday to Friday
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian Federal Police Clearance
  • Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
  • Smartphone with internet access
