About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Physiotherapist to join our team on a casual basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-standard physiotherapy services to all client groups at Proserpine Hospital.

Working autonomously as a Rural Generalist Physiotherapist within a dynamic multidisciplinary team in a busy rural hospital, the Senior Physiotherapist will lead regular direction, operational, and clinical supervision to junior staff, allied health assistants, and students across the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive physiotherapy services to patients with a range of conditions, including musculoskeletal, respiratory, and neurological disorders.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, allied health assistants, and students to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatments, progress, and outcomes.
